...NORTH GALES AND VERY HIGH WAVES EARLY FRIDAY MORNING INTO
FRIDAY NIGHT...

.A STRONG COLD FRONT AND INTENSIFYING LOW PRESSURE OVER THE
EASTERN GREAT LAKES WILL BRING NORTHERLY GALES TO LAKE MICHIGAN
FOR EARLY FRIDAY MORNING INTO FRIDAY NIGHT. THE ALONG SHORE
DIRECTION OF THE STRONG WINDS WILL BUILD HIGH WAVES THROUGHOUT THE
NEARSHORE WATERS.

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.
