.BRISK WEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT INTO THURSDAY
NIGHT...AS A TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT REMAINS IN PLACE ACROSS THE
AREA. THE BRISK WEST WINDS WILL GENERATE HIGH WAVES TOWARD AND
OVER THE OPEN WATERS OF LAKE MICHIGAN DURING THIS TIME. WINDS AND
WAVES WILL SUBSIDE LATE THURSDAY NIGHT...AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES
INTO THE REGION.

  OPEN WATERS OF LAKE MICHIGAN.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 23 TO 33 KNOTS
AND/OR WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE
HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
