AS LOW PRESSURE APPROACHES LATE TONIGHT AND SUNDAY SOUTH WINDS
WILL INCREASE AND TURN SOUTHEAST...RESULTING IN SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORY CONDITIONS. AS THE LOW STRENGTHENS AND HEADS NORTH OF
THE AREA MONDAY... WESTERLY GALE FORCE WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE.
WITH THE OFFSHORE COMPONENT THE HIGHEST WAVES WILL BUILD UP
TOWARDS THE OPEN WATERS.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 7 PM CST
SUNDAY.

* WINDS: SOUTH WINDS INCREASING TO 15 TO 25 KNOTS LATE TONIGHT.
  WINDS DIMINISH SUNDAY NIGHT...THEN WEST GALES TO 40 KNOTS
  POSSIBLE MONDAY INTO MONDAY EVENING.

* WAVES: BUILD TO 3 TO 5 FEET LATE TONIGHT AND SUNDAY...THEN
  DIMINISH SUNDAY NIGHT. WAVES THEN BUILD TO 3 TO 6 FEET MONDAY
  AND MONDAY EVENING...WITH THE HIGHEST WAVES TOWARDS OPEN WATERS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THE RISK OF GALE FORCE WINDS OF 34 TO
47 KNOTS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED...BUT THE SPECIFIC TIMING
AND/OR LOCATION IS STILL UNCERTAIN. IT IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL LEAD TIME FOR MARINERS WHO MAY WISH TO CONSIDER
ALTERING THEIR PLANS.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 23 TO 33 KNOTS
AND/OR WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE
HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
