.THE CURRENT BRIEF LULL TO THE WINDS WILL END EARLY THIS MORNING AS
WINDS SHIFT TO THE WEST AND INCREASE BACK TO ADVISORY LEVELS AS
LOW PRESSURE MOVES FROM NORTHEAST ILLINOIS TO NORTHERN LOWER
MICHIGAN...MERGING WITH A STRONGER LOW OVER EASTERN LAKE SUPERIOR
EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. THE TIGHT GRADIENT AROUND THE DEPARTING LOW
WILL KEEP THE WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS GUSTY UNTIL THIS EVENING.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 23 TO 33 KNOTS
AND/OR WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE
HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
