.A STRONG TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK ACROSS THE WESTERN
GREAT LAKES TODAY...BRINGING GALE FORCE WINDS TO THE NEARSHORE
WATERS THIS AFTERNOON.

THE GUSTY WINDS WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE TONIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE
BUILDS INTO THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY AREA.

  KNOTS. THE WINDS WILL SLOWLY DIMINISH LATER THIS EVENING.

* WAVES: 5 TO 7 FEET. WAVES WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE TONIGHT.

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.
