URGENT - MARINE WEATHER MESSAGE

...BRISK SOUTHWEST WINDS BECOMING NORTHWEST TONIGHT...

.THE COMBINATION OF STRONG LOW PRESSURE TRACKING ACROSS CANADA
AND HIGH PRESSURE TO THE SOUTH WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE BRISK
SOUTHWEST WINDS ACROSS THE NEAR SHORE WATERS INTO THE EARLY
AFTERNOON. THE WINDS WILL BECOME MORE WEST LATER THIS AFTERNOON
AND THEN NORTHWEST TONIGHT AS AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT PASSES THROUGH.
THE WINDS WILL LOSE A BIT OF THEIR GUSTINESS THIS AFTERNOON AND
FURTHER DIMINISH TONIGHT.

ICE COVERAGE IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN WIDESPREAD THIS MORNING OVER
THE NEAR SHORE WATERS...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME BREAKS IN THE
ICE COVER THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

  WEST AND DECREASING TO 15 TO 25 KNOTS THIS AFTERNOON...FURTHER
  DIMINISHING TONIGHT.

* WAVES: LIMITED DUE TO WIDESPREAD ICE COVER.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 23 TO 33 KNOTS
AND/OR WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE
HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
