...SUSTAINED NORTH WINDS TO LEAD TO HIGHER WAVES...

.NORTHWEST WINDS OF 10 TO 20 KNOTS ARE EXPECTED TO SHIFT TO THE
NORTH TONIGHT IN THE WAKE OF A REINFORCING COLD FRONT. THIS WILL
SET UP SUSTAINED NORTHERLY WINDS WHICH WILL LEAD TO A DECENT
BUILDUP IN WAVE ACTION. THE WINDS WILL EASE LATER FRIDAY AS
SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN. THE WAVES WILL GRADUALLY SUBSIDE
INTO FRIDAY NIGHT.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM FRIDAY TO
1 AM CDT SATURDAY.

* WINDS: NORTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 20 KNOTS THIS EVENING THEN SHIFTING
  NORTH 15 TO 20 MPH TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY. WINDS DIMINISH LATER
  FRIDAY INTO FRIDAY EVENING.

* WAVES:  3 TO 4 FEET THIS EVENING BUILDING TO 6 TO 8 FEET LATER
  TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY...THEN SUBSIDING FRIDAY EVENING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 23 TO 33 KNOTS
AND/OR WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE
HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
