...STRONG WEST WINDS ARRIVING LATE TONIGHT...

.A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK FROM SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA
TO CENTRAL LAKE MICHIGAN TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING. A COLD
FRONT EXTENDING SOUTH FROM THE LOW WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE AREA LATE
TONIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY MORNING. THE FRONT WILL LIKELY HAVE A
BAND OF SHOWERS AND POSSIBLY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH IT. IN THE
WAKE OF THE FRONT, STRONG WESTERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP AND LINGER
THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT, BEFORE WEAKENING. DUE TO THE OFFSHORE
TRAJECTORY OF THE WINDS, THE HIGHEST WAVES WILL BE OUT TOWARD OPEN
WATER.

* WINDS: SOUTHWEST WINDS INCREASING TO 15 TO 25 KNOTS EARLY
  THURSDAY MORNING, VEERING WEST BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

* WAVES: 2 TO 4 FEET.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 21 TO 33 KNOTS
ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS WAVE CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT.
INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER
VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
