...GUSTY WINDS OVERNIGHT INTO CHRISTMAS MORNING...

.LOW PRESSURE MOVING NORTHEAST FROM SOUTHERN LAKE HURON AND
GEORGIAN BAY WILL RESULT IN A TIGHTENING PRESSURE GRADIENT OVER
LAKE MICHIGAN AND INCREASING WINDS OVERNIGHT INTO THURSDAY
MORNING.

WIND GUSTS ARE EXPECTED TO REACH 25 KNOTS OVERNIGHT...MAINLY
TOWARD OPEN WATERS. WAVES WILL REMAIN ON THE LOW END DUE TO THE
OFFSHORE NATURE OF THE WINDS. THESE CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO
LINGER INTO THURSDAY MORNING.

  GUSTS TO 25 KNOTS TONIGHT. WINDS WILL BACK SOUTHWEST THURSDAY
  MORNING. THE HIGHEST GUSTS WILL BE TOWARD OPEN WATERS.

* WAVES: BUILDING TO 2 TO 4 FEET TONIGHT...THE HIGHEST WAVES
  TOWARD OPEN WATERS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 23 TO 33 KNOTS
AND/OR WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE
HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
