.NOW...

LOOK FOR A BAND OF STEADY LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW TO CONTINUE TO
MOVE TO THE EAST-NORTHEAST AROUND 20 MPH DURING THE EARLY EVENING
HOURS. THE LEADING EDGE OF THE SNOW BAND...EXTENDING FROM WESTERN
SAUK COUNTY NEAR LOGANVILLE...THROUGH MADISON TO ELKHORN...WILL
REACH A PORTAGE...COLUMBUS...WATERTOWN...WAUKESHA TO WIND POINT
LINE AROUND 9 PM.

NARROW AND INTENSE BANDS OF HEAVY SNOW WITHIN THE MAIN BAND WILL
PRODUCE SNOWFALL RATES BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES PER HOUR. ISOLATED
LOCATIONS COULD PICK UP 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW WITHIN TWO HOURS ON
GRASSY AREAS. MOST LOCATIONS WILL SEE ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH OR
LESS.

DUE TO THE COLD TEMPERATURES WITH THE LOSS OF DAYLIGHT...SNOW WILL
BEGIN TO ACCUMULATE ON AREA ROADS AND SIDEWALKS THIS EVENING.

THE SNOW WILL REDUCE THE VISIBILITY TO BETWEEN 1/4 MILE AND 1/2 MILE
AT TIMES. MOTORISTS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR REDUCED VISIBILITY IN
THE HEAVIER SNOW AND WATCH FOR SLIPPERY CONDITIONS ON UNTREATED...SNOW-
COVERED ROADWAYS.
