.NOW...

THUNDERSTORMS WILL SPREAD INTO SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN THROUGH THE
LATE MORNING. THE LEADING EDGE OF A BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED
FROM NEAR PRAIRIE DU CHIEN TO NEAR GALENA ILLINOIS...AND ON SOUTH
TO EAST OF THE QUAD CITIES. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE
NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL SPREAD INTO THE
DARLINGTON...MINERAL POINT...SHULLSBURG AND MONROE AREAS BETWEEN
1030 AM CDT AND 1130 AM CDT.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY AFFECT THE MADISON AND JANESVILLE AREAS
BETWEEN NOON AND 1 PM CDT. FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS
OCCURRING WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS ALONG WITH BRIEF HEAVY
RAINFALL.

RAINFALL OF ONE HALF INCH TO ONE AND ONE HALF INCHES IS POSSIBLE
IN A ONE TO TWO HOUR PERIOD WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS RESULTING IN
MINOR STREET FLOODING AND PONDING OF WATER.
