...TORNADO TEST DRILL REMAINS ON SCHEDULE FOR THURSDAY...

AS PART OF TORNADO AND SEVERE WEATHER AWARENESS WEEK IN
WISCONSIN...A TEST TORNADO WATCH AND TORNADO WARNING DRILL IS
SCHEDULED FOR EARLY THURSDAY AFTERNOON...APRIL 24TH.

WIDESPREAD RAIN SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED OVER WISCONSIN DURING MUCH OF
THURSDAY WITH A FEW EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE CENTRAL AND
SOUTH AS LOW PRESSURE MOVES ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST. HOWEVER...NO
SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

AFTER COORDINATION WITH WISCONSIN EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT...AS WELL
AS THE WISCONSIN BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION AND THE EMERGENCY
COMMUNICATIONS BOARD...THE TEST TORNADO WATCH AND TORNADO WARNING
WILL PROCEED AS SCHEDULED ON THURSDAY.

THE TEST TORNADO WATCH WILL BE ISSUED FOR ALL OF WISCONSIN AT 1 PM
CDT THURSDAY. THE TEST TORNADO WARNING WILL BE ISSUED FOR ALL OF
WISCONSIN AT 145 PM CDT THURSDAY. THE TORNADO WATCH AND WARNING
TEST WILL CONCLUDE AT 2 PM CDT.

DURING THE DRILL...THIS WILL BE A GOOD TIME FOR BUSINESSES...SCHOOLS...
HOSPITALS AND FAMILIES TO PRACTICE THEIR SAFE PROCEDURES FOR
SEVERE WEATHER.
