...THE TORNADO DRILL IS OFFICIALLY ON FOR TODAY...

IDEAL WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE ON TAP FOR TODAYS TWO PART TORNADO
DRILL. IN CONJUCTION WITH THE WISCONSIN TORNADO DRILL COMMITTEE...WE
HAVE DECIDED THAT THE DRILL IS OFFICIALLY ON FOR TODAY.

IF SEVERE WEATHER WAS POSSIBLE IN THE AFTERNOON OR EVENING...THE
TEST WOULD BE POSTPONED TO THE FOLLOWING DAY.  HOWEVER...THERE IS NO
CHANCE OF SEVERE WEATHER TODAY...SO THE TEST WILL PROCEDE AS PLANNED.

AS A REMINDER...THERE WILL BE A TEST TORNADO WATCH ISSUED AT 1 PM
AND A TEST TORNADO WARNING AT 145 PM. THIS AFTERNOON TEST WILL END
AT 2 PM. THERE WILL BE A NEW EVENING TEST TORNADO WARNING THAT WILL
OCCUR AT 655 PM AND WILL LAST UNTIL 710 PM.  THE TORNADO WARNING
WILL SAY 715 PM FOR WHEN IT EXPIRES...BUT WE WILL BE ENDING THE
DRILL BY 710 PM.

CELL PHONES WILL NOT BE ALERTED VIA THE WIRELESS EMERGENCY
ALERTS...BUT NOAA WEATHER RADIO WILL ACTIVATE ALONG WITH MANY LOCAL
MUNICIPALITIES OUTDOOR WARNING SIRENS.  THIS DRILL IS THE PERFECT
TIME TO TEST YOUR PLANS FOR WHEN A TORNADO COULD HIT.
