Narrative Summary

The tornado first touched down near the intersection of South
First and Winnebago Streets. The tornado moved northeast roughly
paralleling East Washington Avenue, which is US Highway 151.
The tornado lifted near the intersection of East Washington
Avenue and Interstate 39/90. Along the path, the tornado caused
a considerable amount of tree damage that consisted of large limbs
broken along with trees snapped and uprooted. The tree damage
resulted in numerous power poles and lines being downed. Many
structures suffered damage with most consisting of fascia and
roof damage. Some of the more significant damage resulted from
trees falling onto buildings.
