...NWS Damage Survey for 02/08/24 Tornado Event-Update #3...

.Update...Have updated the start and end time of the first
tornado (Albany) based upon two storm chasers live streams
and our better understanding of the radar representation
for that storm.

Survey Summary:
Tornado appeared to start northwest of Juda along Highway 11
and tracked to the northeast to just south of Albany after
crossing the Sugar River.  Storm chaser videos show that a
condensation funnel may not have been evident until the
tornado was closer to Albany.

Survey Summary:
Path of tornado which started south of Evansville, intensified to
an EF-2 east of Evansville and then tracked north of Edgerton and
Lake Koshkonong.  One injury to a motorist whose car was pushed
into a ditch.  Previous update had the wrong end date listed.
