.LOW PRESSURE APPROACHING FROM THE SOUTHWEST...WILL MOVE ACROSS
ILLINOIS AND SOUTHERN WISCONSIN TODAY.

BANDS OF MODERATE SNOWFALL WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE MORNING AS
THE BAND OF SNOW TENDS TO LIFT NORTH. A FEW PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW
ARE CERTAINLY POSSIBLE. THE SNOW WILL DIMINISH WEST BY
AFTERNOON...BUT A SECOND SURGE OF SNOW MAY OCCUR IN THE SOUTHEAST
EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.

HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE INTO THE AFTERNOON DUE
