URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...WINTRY WEATHER TO RETURN TO SOUTHERN WISCONSIN...

.A MIXTURE OF RAIN AND SNOW IS EXPECTED TO SPREAD INTO SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE MIX WILL CHANGE TO
SNOW ACROSS MOST OF SOUTH CENTRAL INTO EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN
DURING THE EVENING. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN AROUND OR JUST ABOVE
FREEZING...SO SLUSHY...WET SNOW WILL LIKELY ACCUMULATE AND CAUSE
HAZARDOUS TRAVEL OVERNIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING. PERIODS OF
LIGHT SNOW...POSSIBLY MIXED WITH RAIN OR SLEET WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

AT THIS TIME...SNOWFALL OF 3 TO 7 INCHES IS EXPECTED ACROSS SOUTH
CENTRAL INTO EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN WITH 1 TO 3 INCHES IN THE FAR
SOUTHEAST.

THE SNOW WILL BE CAUSED BY STRENGTHENING LOW PRESSURE IN THE
CENTRAL PLAINS. THIS LOW WILL MOVE ACROSS SOUTHERN WISCONSIN ON
WEDNESDAY.
