URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...BAND OF MODERATE TO BRIEFLY HEAVY SNOWFALL TO DIMINISH THROUGH
MID-MORNING...

.A BAND OF MODERATE LAKE EFFECT SNOWFALL EXTENDED FROM FAR
SOUTHEAST MILWAUKEE COUNTY INTO EASTERN RACINE AND KENOSHA
COUNTIES...AND NORTHEAST OVER THE NEAR SHORE WATERS OF LAKE
MICHIGAN. THE BAND WAS MOVING SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH BUT
WAS BEGINNING TO SHIFT SOUTHWARD AS THE UPPER LEVEL STEERING WINDS
BECOME MORE NORTH TO NORTHWEST.

THE BAND OF MODERATE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO SHIFT MOSTLY SOUTH OF
MILWAUKEE COUNTY BY 8 AM THIS MORNING BUT WILL CONTINUE IN EASTERN
PARTS OF RACINE AND KENOSHA COUNTIES THROUGH 10 AM.

TOTAL SNOWFALL OF 3 TO 6 INCHES IS EXPECTED FROM PARTS OF EASTERN
MILWAUKEE TO OAK CREEK...WIND POINT...UNION GROVE...
BRISTOL...RACINE AND KENOSHA THROUGH THE MID-MORNING.

THE FLUFFY SNOWFALL AND COLD TEMPERATURES WILL RESULT IN SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS. SLOW DOWN AND
DRIVE CAUTIOUSLY THIS MORNING.

  MILWAUKEE COUNTY TO 3 TO 6 INCHES IN THE SOUTHEAST... INCLUDING
  MILWAUKEE MITCHELL FIELD AND OAK CREEK WITH ISOLATED HIGHER
  AMOUNTS.

* WINDS...NORTH WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED ROADS AND WALKS CREATING HAZARDOUS
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS.
