URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...ACCUMULATING SNOW THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...

.A BAND OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL WEAKEN FOR A TIME THIS
EVENING AS IT LIFTS SLOWLY NORTHEAST OVER SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN
AND WESTERN SECTIONS OF SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN. A LARGER AREA OF
SNOW...WITH EMBEDDED BANDS OF HEAVY SNOW PRODUCING 1 TO 2 INCH PERHOUR
SNOWFALL RATES...WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN SECTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
WISCONSIN AROUND MIDNIGHT.

THIS AREA WILL MOVE ACROSS MOST OF SOUTHERN WISCONSIN DURING THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS. THE HIGHER SNOW TOTALS WITHIN A NARROW BAND WILL
BE SOUTH AND WEST OF A BARABOO...TO VERONA TO JANESVILLE LINE WHERE
AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL...
INCLUDING OVER WESTERN IOWA COUNTY AND NORTHWEST LAFAYETTE
COUNTIES WHICH HAVE ALREADY SEEN 3 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW.

PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT AND TAPER OFF
FROM NORTH TO SOUTH MONDAY MORNING.

AM CDT MONDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF MODERATE SNOW...WITH EMBEDDED HEAVIER BANDS
  ...WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT AND TAPER OFF MONDAY
  MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...7 TO 8 INCHES SOUTHWEST OF A LINE FROM LONE
  ROCK TO ARGYLE.

* IMPACTS...VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED TO A QUARTER MILE OR
  LESS AT TIMES. WATCH FOR SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS.
