...HEAVY SNOW EXPECTED TUESDAY...

.LOW PRESSURE TRACKING FROM THE PLAINS TO THE GREAT LAKES WILL
BRING A SWATH OF HEAVY SNOW ACROSS CENTRAL WISCONSIN ON TUESDAY.
CONFIDENCE IS INCREASING THAT AREAS NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM
DARLINGTON TO MADISON TO FOND DU LAC WILL LIKELY HAVE SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATIONS GREATER THAN SIX INCHES. THE SNOW WILL BE HEAVY AND
WET AND CAUSE VERY LOW VISIBILITY... ESPECIALLY TUESDAY AFTERNOON.
TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS.

TUESDAY NIGHT...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN HAS ISSUED A
WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING
THROUGH LATE TUESDAY NIGHT.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL ARRIVE TUESDAY MORNING FROM THE SOUTH AND
  BECOME HEAVY BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. EXPECT SNOW TO TAPER OFF FROM
  WEST TO EAST TUESDAY NIGHT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS... 6 INCHES OR MORE POSSIBLE ALONG AND
  NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM DARLINGTON TO MADISON TO FOND DU LAC.
  HIGHEST AMOUNTS EXPECTED TOWARD WISCONSIN DELLS WITH 9 TO 11
  INCHES POSSIBLE. THERE IS STILL UNCERTAINTY REGARDING SNOWFALL
  AMOUNTS.

* WINDS...EAST TO NORTHEAST 15 TO 25 MPH BY EARLY TUESDAY
  AFTERNOON... THEN BECOMING NORTH 10 TO 20 MPH TUESDAY EVENING.

* IMPACTS...HIGH SNOWFALL RATES WILL CAUSE LOW VISIBILITY AND
  HAZARDOUS TRAVEL.

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT
SNOW...SLEET...OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL.
