URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...LIGHT SNOW GRADUALLY TAPERING OFF FROM WEST TO EAST
OVERNIGHT...

.THE LIGHT SNOW WILL GRADUALLY TAPER OFF FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS
SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN THROUGH THE LATE NIGHT. UP
TO AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE IN SOME
AREAS.

MOST AREAS SHOULD RECEIVE BETWEEN 3 AND 6 INCHES OF SNOW BY
SUNRISE THIS MORNING. IN ADDITION...BLUSTERY WEST WINDS WILL
CONTINUE TO CAUSE PATCHY BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES
LATE THIS EVENING. THE WINDS WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH LATER TONIGHT
INTO EARLY TUESDAY.

A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE SWINGING THROUGH WISCONSIN IS
RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCUMULATING SNOW AND BLUSTERY WINDS. A
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR EAST CENTRAL AND
SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN THROUGH 6 AM CST TUESDAY.

EXPIRE.

TRAVEL MAY CONTINUE TO BE HAZARDOUS THROUGH LATE TONIGHT UNTIL

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST EARLY
THIS MORNING.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF LIGHT SNOW AND PATCHY BLOWING SNOW WILL GRADUALLY
  DIMINISH OVERNIGHT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO 1 INCH ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL OVERNIGHT.
  STORM TOTAL 3 TO 6 INCHES.

* WINDS...WEST WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH DIMINISHING TO 10 TO 15 MPH
  EARLY THIS MORNING.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS WILL MAKE TRAVEL
  HAZARDOUS OVERNIGHT. IN ADDITION...BLOWING SNOW WILL REDUCE
  THE VISIBILITIES...ESPECIALLY ON RURAL NORTH/SOUTH ROADWAYS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW MEANS THAT
VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF FALLING AND
BLOWING SNOW. USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING... ESPECIALLY IN OPEN
AREAS.
