...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM MDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN ROOSEVELT AND NORTHEASTERN CHAVES COUNTIES...

At 132 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
Elkins, or 42 miles northeast of Roswell, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Elkins and Kenna.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
