Fire Weather Forecast For Central/NE South Dakota WC MN
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
558 PM CDT Thu Aug 17 2017

.DISCUSSION...

A surface ridge axis currently located over eastern South
Dakota will shift east tonight, as a disturbance brings the potential
for showers and thunderstorms to portions of the area. The best
chances for rain will be southwest of a line from Mobridge to
Watertown, although some of the rain may sneak into northeastern
South Dakota and west central Minnesota. A few storms may contain
gusty winds this evening over central South Dakota.

On Friday, winds will gradually turn from the southwest to northwest
and become breezy. Min RH will range from the 20s and 30s across
central South Dakota to the 50s over northeast South Dakota and west
central Minnesota. In addition, there may be some lingering showers
for areas to the east of the James River, mainly in the afternoon.
