.DISCUSSION...
Near or slightly below average conditions will continue through
Wednesday. Scattered showers tonight will give way to a chance
for wetting rain in the Eastern Interior on Wednesday, with rain
likely mostly along and north of a line from Fairbanks to Eagle.
Starting on Thursday, downsloping will set in across the Alaska
Range and through the mountain passes. This will warm temperatures
to above normal and dry relative humidity values into the teens
and twenties percent in the Isabel Pass and Delta Junction areas
from Thursday through the weekend. Accompanying the downsloping
will be Chinook winds of 20 mph gusting to 30 mph through AK Range
passes on Thursday, increasing to 30 mph gusting to 45 mph on
Friday.
