For the rest of the area (Urban Corridor and adjacent plains) east to southeast winds are expected. Cooler conditions will prevail today behind yesterday`s cold front. A few weak showers and perhaps a couple thunderstorms will form late this afternoon and evening over the eastern plains. LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday through Monday... Light snow will occur for areas above 8k ft starting Friday morning through Saturday. Elsewhere scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely. Minimum relative humidities remain above 20 percent. Breezy conditions will occur Friday afternoon with wind gusts up to 40 mph across the valleys, foothills, and plains. Drier conditions are possible Sunday and Monday which may lead to elevated fire weather conditions.
