...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN ROCK ISLAND...NORTHEASTERN MERCER...WEST CENTRAL HENRY
AND EASTERN SCOTT COUNTIES...
At 731 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Princeton Wildlife Area to Hampton to near
Preemption, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Moline, Rock Island, Bettendorf, East Moline, Silvis, Milan, Colona,
Le Claire, Coal Valley, Hampton, Port Byron, Rapids City, Princeton,
Cordova, Sherrard, Reynolds, Riverdale, Oak Grove, Carbon Cliff, and
Panorama Park.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 74 in Iowa between mile markers 4 and 5.
Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 301 and 306.
Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 1 and 5.
Interstate 74 in Illinois between mile markers 1 and 11.
Interstate 280 between mile markers 13 and 18.
