...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN WHITESIDE...WESTERN CARROLL...SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON
AND NORTHEASTERN CLINTON COUNTIES...

At 712 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over South Sabula
Lake Park, or 8 miles west of Mount Carroll, moving northeast at 45
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Savanna, Sabula, Argo Fay, Thomson, Mississippi Palisades State Park,
South Sabula Lake Park, Wacker, Ideal, Camp Miss-Elk-Ton, Center
Hill, and Thomson Causeway.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for northwestern
Illinois...and east central Iowa.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
