The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Atchison County in northwestern Missouri...
  Northern Nodaway County in northwestern Missouri...

* Until 300 PM CDT.

* At 219 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Skidmore, or
  13 miles southeast of Tarkio, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Maryville, Burlington Junction, Hopkins, Skidmore, Braddyville,
  Clearmont, Pickering, and Quitman.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northwestern
Missouri.
