...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern
Guadalupe, northern Wilson and southeastern Bexar Counties through
1245 PM CDT...

At 1203 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
China Grove, or 9 miles east of Stinson Municipal Airport, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
San Antonio, Schertz, Seguin, Cibolo, Universal City, Live Oak,
Floresville, Stockdale, Randolph AFB, Kirby, Windcrest, Terrell
Hills, McQueeney, St. Hedwig, Elmendorf, La Vernia, China Grove,
Marion, Santa Clara, and New Berlin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 PM CDT for
south central Texas.
