...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of western Young County
through 645 PM CDT...

At 608 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northeast of Woodson, or 16 miles southeast of Throckmorton,
moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of western Young
County, including the following locations... Newcastle, Jean, Murray,
South Bend, and Eliasville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
