Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Glasgow MT

.DISCUSSION...
Surface high pressure over the area will allow for mainly clear
skies tonight. Light winds over the southeast zones will allow for
the coolest temps there while a return flow will keep temps up
elsewhere.

Clipper system drops into central Canada and allow for a warm-up
across the area. Look got highs to be back up into the 50s to low
60s with strong West winds mainly over the NE zones.

Then a backdoor cold front knocks temps down for Saturday with
plenty of clouds around. This cool airmass lingers into Sunday.

A warm front moves west to east early Monday across the area
allowing for warm winds to bring in a dry airmass. Look for highs
to be in the 60s in most places, and near 70 near and SW of Fort
Peck Lake.

A cold front then moves in, with a cooling trnd that begins next
week. This may help set the stage for snow later in the week as an
upper trough digs over the Pacific NW. TFJ
