.DISCUSSION...
Clouds and isolated sprinkles are exiting the CWA to the east
while sunshine breaks out across NE Montana this afternoon
filtered through some high cloud at times. This will allow high
temperatures to top off around the NBM forecast mean.
Tonight into Wednesday expect light winds and quiet weather
to prevail ahead of the next cold front. Look for gusty northwest
winds late Wednesday into Wednesday night with low stratus across
NE Montana which could lead to elevated fog in places.
Cooler temperatures will linger on Thursday before a rebound late
in the week and drop off yet again for the weekend with the next
cold front. The EFI shift of tails product still shows some
signaling for gusty winds, especially in the east, for the
weekend.

.AVIATION...
Mostly VFR conditions will remain across the region tonight. Low
stratus is expected with a cold frontal passage on Wednesday which
will continue into Wednesday night and Thursday. Through that
later period, there exists about a 20 percent probability for
ceilings below 500 feet, a 1 in 3 chance for ceilings below 1000
feet, and about a 3 in 5 chance for ceilings below 3000 feet.
Light winds tonight will become northwest and increase to 15 to
25 kts with occasional higher gusts on Wednesday afternoon through
Wednesday night.
