FOR NORTHEASTERN CHESTER AND SOUTH CENTRAL YORK COUNTIES...
At 309 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles east of
Chester, or near Richburg, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Lawn, Richburg, Lowrys, Edgemoor, Fishing Creek Reservoir,
Mcconnells, and Chester.
