Mosly sunny skies and hot temperatures were in place across central
and eastery Kansas today. Late afternoon temperatures ranged from the low
90s across central Kansas, to the upper 80s across the southeast corner
of the Sunflower State. Normal highs for this time of year are around 70
degrees.

Mild overnight lows are forecast for tonight with overnight readings ranging
from the 50s over Nebraska to the 60s across Oklahoma and eastern
Kansas.  A few showers and storms will be possible on Monday across
Eastern Kansas and eastern Nebraska as a storm system approaches
from the west. However, the more widespread storms are not expected
until Monday night. Look for highs on Monday to be in the 80s region
wide along with gusty southeast winds.
