...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following county, in northern Kentucky, Owen.

* WHEN...Until 900 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 548 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches
    are possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Owenton, Monterey, Gratz, Elk Lake, Beechwood, Elmer Davis
    Lake, Needmore, Long Ridge, Harmony, Natlee and New Columbus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
