...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...

  Illinois River at Peoria affecting Tazewell, Peoria and Woodford
  Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

  Illinois River at Beardstown affecting Schuyler, Cass, Morgan and
  Brown Counties.

  Illinois River near Havana affecting Fulton, Cass and Mason
  Counties.

  Little Wabash River below Clay City affecting Clay and Richland
  Counties.

.The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with interests along this river need to remain aware of the
latest forecasts and associated flood risk for their area. Stay
tuned for further updates on this flooding situation.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Illinois River at Peoria.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Some flooding begins to bottomland not
  protected by levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 18.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 PM CDT Wednesday was 18.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 17.5 feet
    Wednesday, April 17.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

  - At 7:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 20.3 feet
    Friday evening.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
