The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20
  NM...
  Coastal waters from St. Augustine to Flagler Beach FL out 20 NM...
  Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60
  NM...
  Waters from St. Augustine to Flagler Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 130 PM EDT.

* At 1135 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 8 nm southwest
  of Palm Valley to 15 nm west of Saint Augustine, moving east at 40
  knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Dorothy Louise Barge, Casablanca Reef, Saint Augustine Beach,
  Tournament Reef, Vilano Beach, South Ponte Vedra Beach, Palm
  Valley, Nine Mile Reef, Saint Augustine, Butler Beach, Navy
  Drydock, Guana River State Park, and Jacksonville Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM EDT for northeastern
Florida...and the adjacent coastal waters.

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected. If your vessel is caught offshore, immediately secure for
heavy weather. Ensure all crew members are wearing USCG approved Type
I life jackets and nonessential crew are below decks. Deploy jack
lines and harnesses if available. Check life saving equipment,
including batteries on handheld radios, for readiness.
