SOUTHWESTERN GLYNN...SOUTHWESTERN PIERCE...NORTHWESTERN ECHOLS... BRANTLEY...CENTRAL WARE...CLINCH AND CHARLTON COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM EDT... At 410 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Thalmann to near Mayday. Movement was southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... St. Marys, Kingsland, Brunswick, Waycross, Blackshear, Folkston, Homerville, Woodbine, Nahunta, and Argyle. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding.
