Through 900 am, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to
develop across the island chain and its surrounding waters and move
northeast to east at near 30 knots. Mariners in the vicinity of this
activity can expect wind gusts up to 35 knots, blinding downpours,
and occasional lightning strikes. Stay tuned to NOAA weather radio
