  Coastal waters from Intracoastal City to Cameron LA out 20 NM...
  Coastal waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA
  out 20 NM...
  Vermilion and West Cote Blanche Bays...

* Until 930 AM CDT.

* At 827 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located near Vermilion Bay, moving east at 10
  knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

  South Marsh Island 217, South Marsh Island 239, Marsh Island,
  Eugene Island 24, Vermilion 31, Eugene Island 28, West Cote Blanche
  Bay, Eugene Island 30, Vermilion 26, Eugene Island 42, Eugene
  Island 53, and South Marsh Island 236.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
