* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Jefferson County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 600 AM CDT.

* At 534 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near High Island,
  or 17 miles south of Hamshire, moving southeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southwestern Jefferson County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
