...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in the City of Alexandria and Arlington
  County.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...Water is expected to approach the curb near the
  intersection of King Street and Strand Street in Alexandria.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Alexandria is at 9:33 AM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TUESDAY TO
NOON EDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one foot of
  inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal
  flooding. For the Coastal Flood Warning, one to two feet of
  inundation above ground level expected in low lying areas due
  to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 3 AM EDT Tuesday,
  especially around the time of high tide. For the Coastal Flood
  Warning, from 3 AM Tuesday to noon EDT Wednesday, especially
  around the time of high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches the floor of the Maritime
  Museum in Annapolis, begins to cover Bowyer Road on the Naval
  Academy campus, and numerous businesses on Dock Street are
  flooded, along with the City Dock parking lot. Bayside Beach
  begins to flood around Harbor Rd and Lake Dr.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two and a half to three feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at 6:32
  PM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one half foot of
  inundation above ground level expected in low lying areas due
  to tidal flooding. For the Coastal Flood Warning, one to two
  feet of inundation above ground level expected in low lying
  areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in St. Marys County.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 1 PM this
  afternoon to 1 AM EDT Tuesday, especially around the time of
  high tide. For the Coastal Flood Warning, from 1 AM Tuesday to
  6 AM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint George
  Island, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To the
  east, inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off St.
  Mary`s River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 2:36 PM. The
  next high tide at Coltons Point is at 4:17 PM.

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one and a half feet
  of inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal
  flooding. For the Coastal Flood Watch, one to two feet of
  inundation above ground level possible in low lying areas due to
  tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 1 AM EDT Tuesday,
  especially around the time of high tide. For the Coastal Flood
  Watch, from late tonight through Wednesday afternoon,
  especially around the time of high tide.

* IMPACTS...During moderate flooding, the unprotected area on the
  Southwest Waterfront at the DC Seafood Market is expected to
  flood. Water is expected to approach parts of the Hains Point
  Loop Road, but it will likely be closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 9:15 AM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of

7 PM EDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level
  expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Calvert County.

* WHEN...From noon today to 7 PM EDT Wednesday, especially
  around the time of high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, water is expected to reach backyards
  near 9th Street in North Beach, and could approach 9th Street.
  At 3.5 feet, yards are flooded near Charles Street and
  Williams Street in Solomons. Nearby parking lots and the
  streets themselves are covered by more than a half foot of
  water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two and a half to three feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Chesapeake Beach is at 5:17 PM.
  The next high tide at Solomons Island is at 3:24 PM.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 3 PM EDT Wednesday,
  especially around the time of high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 4.5 feet, portions of the Havre de Grace Yacht
  Basin are flooded, along with Hutchins Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two and a half to three feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Havre de Grace is at 11:07 AM.
