Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
1255 AM EDT Sun May 19 2024

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

Low pressure will slowly move off the North Carolina coast today,
with shower coverage becoming more isolated in coverage. Drier
conditions with a gradual warming trend is expected Monday and
Tuesday as high pressure pushes back into the region. A potent
cold front looks to bring additional showers and thunderstorms to
the area by Wednesday into Thursday. This boundary settles off to
the south before eventually stalling nearby by early next weekend.
