WEATHER SUMMARY FOR MINNESOTA

Clear skies and cool temperatures prevailed overnight across the
North Star state as high pressure started moving into the region.
Temperatures bottomed out in the 40s and 50s. Plenty of sunshine can
be expected today as highs climb into the the lower to middle 70s.
High pressure will maintain its influence through Monday, keeping
mostly clear skies in place. Temperatures will continue their
warming trend, climbing into the 80s statewide.
More unsettled conditions develop midweek as a low pressure system
shifts east along the international border, bringing showers and
thunderstorms to the state Tuesday night through Wednesday night.
High pressure returns for the end of the week. Highs again climb
into the 80s for Tuesday then drop to the 70s on Wednesday as the
low pressure system departs, then fall to the upper 60s to lower 70s
