Weather Summary for Minnesota
National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
417 AM CDT Wed Sep 20 2017

Rain is clearing the east end of the state this morning, with a
relatively nice day in store, with mostly sunny skies and highs in
the 60s north and 70s south. Friday, we`ll see front work into the
west and up into north central Minnesota. This front will stay
pretty much parked in the same spot through the weekend. This will
result in a rather strong temperature gradient across the state,
with fall in full swing in the northwest as highs struggle to make
60, while it will be full summer mode in the southeast, where highs
will reach into the 80s and 90s. Unfortunately, in between the
northwest and southeast corners of the state, there will be repeated
rounds of showers and thunderstorms, with several inches of rain
possible through the weekend. This front will finally start pushing
east next week, slowly taking the rain and summer temepratures
with.
