WEATHER SUMMARY FOR MINNESOTA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TWIN CITIES MN
411 AM CDT Wed May 25 2016

A very summer-like pattern is in place this morning, that is unless
you live near Lake Superior. Temperatures this morning are
comfortably in the 50s and 60s, with rain our our doorstep in
eastern South Dakota. Showers and thunderstorms will spread north
across the state this morning, lifting into the Northland this
afternoon and evening. Mainly cloudy skies today will keep highs
mainly in the 70s, though for those up along Lake Superior, it will
be another day with east winds off the lake keep skies foggy and
cloudy with temperatures not leaving the 50s.

This summer-like pattern will be with us through Memorial Day, with
highs getting into the 70s and 80s and lows staying up in the 50s
and 60s. We will also see numerous rounds of showers and
thunderstorms. The wettest period this holiday weekend looks to be
Thursday night through Saturday night, with better chances for
seeing some sunny skies and dry weather looking to come for Sunday
and Monday.
