WEATHER SUMMARY FOR MINNESOTA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN MN
540 AM CDT THU APR 20 2017

Scattered rain showers for much of the state, with some rain and
snow showers up north, persist this morning as an area of low
pressure shifts eastward from eastern Iowa into northern Illinois.
The precipitation will gradually diminish through the day today as
the low pressure system slides into the Great Lakes region. High
pressure will then fill in behind the system for Friday, resulting
in dry conditions.

A weak cold front will drop through northern and central portions of
Minnesota on Saturday, possibly producing a few isolated rain
showers up north but nothing significant. High pressure then returns
for Sunday, again resulting in dry conditions.

Highs will hold in the 40s and 50s today then climb into the 50s and
60s through the weekend.
