A FEW SHOWERS LINGERED OVER THE ARROWHEAD AND NORTHERN MINNESOTA
LATE THIS MORNING. A WEAK COOL FRONT WAS LOCATED OVER WESTERN
MINNESOTA AND EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA. CLOUDS HAVE CLEARED OUT OF THE
SOUTHWEST AND PORTIONS OF CENTRAL MINNESOTA...WITH THE REMAINDER
OF THE STATE MOSTLY CLOUDY. AT 11 AM...TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM
THE MIDDLE 60S ALONG THE LAKE SUPERIOR SHORE...TO THE UPPER 70S
OVER PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHWEST.

THE FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE STATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT...WITH ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE.
SOME OF THE STORMS MAY BE STRONG...AND WHILE HEAVY RAIN IS THE
GREATEST THREAT...A FEW STORMS MAY PRODUCE LARGE HAIL OR BRIEF
GUSTY WINDS. TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB INTO THE LOW 70S ALONG THE
NORTH SHORE...AND THE UPPER 80S SOUTHWEST. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE
FROM THE LOW 50S NORTHWEST...TO NEAR 70 SOUTHEAST.

A CHANCE OF SHOWERS LINGERS OVER THE ARROWHEAD ON SATURDAY MORNING.
DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH LATE MORNING AND MUCH OF THE
AFTERNOON STATEWIDE. A COMPACT AND FAST MOVING SURFACE LOW WILL
CRUISE INTO NORTH DAKOTA DURING THE AFTERNOON...AND INTO MINNESOTA
DURING THE NIGHT. AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM...SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE
POSSIBLE OVER NORTHERN AND SOUTHWESTERN MINNESOTA LATE AFTERNOON
THE THE EVENING. TEMPERATURES WILL TREND COOLER ON SATURDAY WITH
HIGHS IN THE MIDDLE 70S NORTHWEST...TO THE UPPER 80S SOUTH.
