AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WAS LOCATED OVER NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO
EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. A PAIR OF COOL FRONTS EXTENDED SOUTH AND
SOUTHWEST FROM THE LOW CENTER. THE EARLY MORNING THUNDERSTORMS HAD
MOVED OUT OF THE STATE...AND NEW STORMS HAD DEVELOPED OVER
NORTHEASTERN MINNESOTA. AT 12 PM TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE
MIDDLE 60S AT THE TIP OF THE ARROWHEAD...TO THE MIDDLE 80S EAST OF
THE BUFFALO RIDGE.

THE COLD FRONTS WILL MOVE EASTWARD ACROSS THE STATE THIS AFTERNOON
AND THIS EVENING. THE FIRST FRONT...LOCATED OVER EASTERN AND
PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN MINNESOTA THIS AFTERNOON...WILL BE THE FOCUS
FOR STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. THE SECONDARY FRONT...FROM
NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA TO THE SOUTHWEST...WILL ALSO SUPPORT
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS. WITH ABOVE AVERAGE ATMOSPHERIC MOISTURE IN
PLACE OVER THE STATE...HEAVY RAINFALL IS ANTICIPATED WITH ANY
STORMS THAT DEVELOP. TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON WILL REACH THE
UPPER 70S OVER THE NORTHWEST...TO THE LOW 90S EAST OF THE BUFFALO
RIDGE. LOWS TONIGHT WILL COOL INTO THE UPPER 50S NORTHEAST...TO
THE MIDDLE 60S SOUTH.

ANOTHER DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE INTO THE STATE FROM THE NORTHWEST ON
MONDAY MORNING. STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ONCE
AGAIN...WITH THE GREATEST THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER OVER THE
SOUTHERN THIRD OF THE STATE. HEAVY RAINFALL IS LIKELY WITH ANY OF
THE STORMS. TEMPERATURES WILL TREND SLIGHTLY COOLER...TOPPING
OUT IN THE LOW 70S NORTH...TO THE MIDDLE 80S SOUTHEAST.
