A WEAK COOL FRONT WAS LOCATED OVER SOUTHERN MINNESOTA LATE THIS
MORNING. SKIES WERE CLEAR ACROSS THE STATE AND HIGH PRESSURE WAS
BUILDING BEHIND THE FRONT. WINDS WERE NORTHWESTERLY IN SOUTHERN
MINNESOTA AND NORTHERLY BEHIND THE FRONT. TEMPERATURES AT 11 AM
RANGED FROM THE MIDDLE 50S NORTHEAST TO THE MIDDLE 60S SOUTH.

A FEW CLOUDS MAY DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON OVER SOUTHERN MINNESOTA
ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE FRONT. OTHERWISE...CLEAR SKIES AND QUIET
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. AREAS OF FROST
ARE POSSIBLE IN THE NORTHEAST ONCE AGAIN WITH CLEAR SKIES AND
LIGHT WINDS OVERNIGHT RESULTING IN EFFICIENT RADIATIONAL COOLING.
HIGHS THIS AFTERNOON WILL REACH THE UPPER 50S NORTHEAST...TO THE
LOW 70S SOUTH. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 20S
NORTHEAST...TO THE LOW 50S SOUTH-CENTRAL.

QUIET WEATHER WILL CONTINUE ON FRIDAY WITH THE RIDGE STILL IN
PLACE ACROSS THE STATE. CLOUDS WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE FROM THE
SOUTH DURING THE AFTERNOON IN RESPONSE TO A DEVELOPING AREA OF
LOW PRESSURE OVER NORTHEAST COLORADO. A FEW CLOUDS ARE POSSIBLE
IN FAR NORTHERN MINNESOTA DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AS A WEAK
DISTURBANCE SKIRTS BY JUST NORTH OF THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER.
TEMPERATURES ON FRIDAY WILL CLIMB INTO THE MIDDLE 60S
NORTHEAST...TO THE UPPER 70S IN THE MINNESOTA RIVER VALLEY OF
WESTERN MINNESOTA.

THE STORM SYSTEM OVER COLORADO LATE FRIDAY WILL SLOWLY ORGANIZE
AND GRADUALLY MOVE NORTHEAST THROUGH THE WEEKEND. RAIN AND
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES INCREASE LATE FRIDAY NIGHT IN THE SOUTHWEST
AND INTO NORTHERN MINNESOTA BY SATURDAY NIGHT. THEREAFTER...THE
CHANCE OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE STATEWIDE THROUGH
MEMORIAL DAY AND INTO TUESDAY.
